Honey AI
Honey AI Privacy Policy
How Honey AI collects, uses and protects the information connected with your account and your conversations.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Who we are
Honey AI operates the website at honey-ai.net and the companion chat service offered through it. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Honey AI.
Scope of this policy
This policy explains what information Honey AI collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It applies to every page and feature on honey-ai.net.
Age requirement
Honey AI is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Information you give us
This includes an email address if you create an account, any display name you choose, preferences you set, and the content of the messages you send to a companion.
Information collected automatically
We record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, and the dates and times of your visits.
Cookies and similar technologies
Honey AI uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings and measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some features may then stop working.
Analytics
We use aggregated analytics to understand which pages people visit and where they lose interest. These reports describe groups of visitors, not identifiable individuals.
How we use your information
To operate the chat service, keep your conversations available to you, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve the product, and meet our legal obligations.
Conversation content
Messages you exchange with a Honey AI companion are stored so the conversation can continue between sessions. They are not published, sold or shown to other members.
Automated processing
Companion replies are generated automatically. No human reads your conversations as a matter of routine; access is limited to narrow cases such as investigating abuse or a security incident.
Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent where you have given it, and compliance with the law.
Payment information
If you purchase anything, card details are handled by our payment provider. Honey AI does not store full card numbers on its own systems.
Service providers
We share limited data with providers who host our infrastructure, deliver email, process payments and provide analytics. They may use it only to perform services for us.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Disclosure required by law
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of Honey AI, our members or the public.
Business changes
If Honey AI is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, member information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is open. Conversation history is kept until you delete it or close your account. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
Security measures
We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring to protect your data. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take the responsibility seriously.
Your access rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and we will provide it in a portable format where required by law.
Correction and deletion
You may correct inaccurate information at any time and ask us to delete your account and its contents. Deletion is permanent.
Objection and restriction
Where applicable law allows, you may object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it while a dispute is resolved.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before then.
Marketing messages
If you opt in to email updates you can unsubscribe using the link in any message. Service and security notices are sent regardless, as they are necessary to operate your account.
Do Not Track
Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so Honey AI does not currently act on those signals.
Third-party links
Pages on Honey AI may link to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
California residents
If you live in California you may request details of the categories of personal information collected and disclosed, and ask us to delete it. Honey AI does not sell personal information.
European and UK residents
If you are in the EEA or the UK you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised update date.
